For this set design, we were asked to create a weathered, hand-painted wood effect, giving the space a beautifully aged and characterful look. To achieve this, we used a combination of layering paints, dry brushing, and subtle distressing techniques, carefully building up texture to mimic the natural wear of time. The key was to strike the perfect balance — authentic but not overdone, ensuring the effect looked effortlessly lived-in. The end result was a realistic, rustic wood finish that added depth and personality to the set, proving that sometimes the best details are the ones that look naturally imperfect!
